How to set up a new Defly Wallet

Some important information to know before setting up your new Defly wallet is:

Your mnemonic phrase is your key! If you lose this you cannot access your wallet, never show it to anyone.
Defly is an Algorand wallet with unique DeFi trading features making it more suited for trading than your Pera Algorand Wallet.
Has its own token $DEFLY, that you can stake right in the wallet.
They are working on creating a browser version that should be available soon.

Step-by-step tutorial for setting up your Defly Wallet

Start by opening the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) on your phone, search “defly wallet” and download. It has a black-and-white arrow logo.

Open your new Defly Wallet, press “add your first account” then click “New” in the top left corner.

Name your wallet, optional color, and security preferences, then click the purple button “Create Account”.

After that, click the alert at the top of the screen“backup not created” (shown below) to set your mnemonic phrase/passphrase!

Read the information and click the two “I understand” boxes then click “continue”. Get your piece of paper and write down the 25 words with their corresponding number once you have your mnemonic phrase written down click “ continue”. Finally, verify your mnemonic phrase by choosing the word that matches the number shown.
